Value Village Bathroom Review
In this blog, I'll be giving my thoughts and review on the bathrooms at Value Village, more specifically the one on the east side of Saint John. For the longest time I never even knew that there were bathrooms there so it was pretty shocking to me when I first found it.
The reason it took me so long to find out they had bathrooms is because how hidden away they are. There is no real signage for it and its tucked away behind the kids section. Luckily though the time I accidentally stumbled upon it on a time where I really needed it.
My first experience with it went quite well. When I first walked in I was a little skeptical about the cleanliness of the washroom but it really wasn't that bad. It's relatively small with only one stall and one urinal. I personally used the stall and was quite happy with the toilet and the paper. The sink was also quite decent with a good strength stream. My second time though was quite different.
The second time I went to the ValVil restrooms it wasn't close to as good of an experience though. I needed to use the stall as well this time but sadly when I first went in it was busy. I returned a few minutes later to find the same guy who was there at first slumped down on the ground. I asked if he was okay then he walked out and I could tell he was drugged up. My guess was proved when he tried to hand me a needle. He then proceeded to talk to me about random stuff until I left.
Overall, in an emergency the Value Village bathrooms are a good option, but other then that I'd avoid it at all costs. I give them a 5.1/10
