2020 Line Honey Badger Review

For this blog, I will be reviewing the 2020 Line Honey Badgers. These skis are twin tipped and meant for intermediate skiers like myself who want to experiment in the park.

When I was looking to buy myself a pair of skis, all I really knew was that I wanted a pair of twin tips, but I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money. After not much research I found the Honey Badgers and was instantly sold. For just 400$, you get a pair of skis ready to take a beating that can do quite a lot.

My first impression of these skis was that they carved suprisingly well for a cheaply priced park ski. This was also my first time skiing such a long ski but it shockingly didnt feel any different. The flexible nose and tails of the Honey Badgers made them extremely easy to do manuals with. They also were perfect for smaller jumps as the skis are super light.

Some of the negative aspects of these skis are that they're no good on ice and that the top sheet chips easily. To be fair, these aren't skis that are meant for carving so they shouldn't be expected to do good on ice. Sadly over here on the east coast ice is just as common as snow on the mountains so there are often moments that get a little sketchy. The top sheet of the Badgers seems to be very cheaply made. It isn't the end of the world, but it is unfortunate that my one season old skis are already all chipped up.

In conclusion the 2020 Line Honey Badgers are a very fairly priced intermediate park ski that I'd recommend to anyone looking to buy their first set of twin tips. Overall I'd give these skis a 9.1/10.
