2017 Volkswagen Golf Wagon TDI Review

Today, I'll be writing my review on the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Wagon TDI. Since this wagon runs on diesel, it gets an impressive 31 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway. This gives it a combined 35 mpg, which is 10 mpg better then the standard car. Although it has better fuel economy then most, the fact that it uses diesel instead of gasoline makes the price to fill it up a bit higher then normal.

One of my favourite things about this car is just how smooth it drives. Everything from when you accelerate, steer, or even just small things like putting it in park or reverse just feel good. I found myself speeding accidentaly quite a few times just because of how smooth the ride was, even though the car isn't all that fast.

Something I love but also hate about the Golf Wagon are the aesthetics. From the outside, the car looks to be brand new and for a wagon it is nice to look at, but when you get inside things change. The interior has its nice aspects, but it looks quite cheaply made and outdated. For example, the infotainment system looks like it was the first ever made and the trim is all cheap looking plastic.

Overall the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Wagon TDI is a pretty decent car that really only lacks on the interior. If it was better this car would have an insanely high rating but instead it gets a still good 8.7/10.
